Give Back with DMAW!

Join the Young Professionals of DMAW (YDMAW) for a meaningful day of service at DC Central Kitchen, a nationally recognized nonprofit working to combat hunger and create economic opportunity in the DC community. 

During this hands-on volunteer experience, participants will help prepare balanced meals for the community alongside DC Central Kitchen’s culinary team, no cooking or food service experience required! This is a unique opportunity to give back in a tangible way, connect with your peers, and see firsthand how nonprofit programs are making a real impact. 

Whether you’re looking to get more involved with DMAW, meet like-minded peers, or simply spend a few hours doing good, we’d love to have you join us!

Location

DC Central Kitchen

DC Central Kitchen is located in the Buzzard Point neighborhood behind Audi field. The front entrance is on V St between First and 2nd St.

The closest metro station is Waterfront (Green Line). There is a metro bus (Bus C55) that runs between the Waterfront station and directly in front of the facility.
