The National WWII Museum seeks a Senior Director of Direct Marketing to lead strategy, execution, and optimization of multichannel direct-response marketing initiatives that support key growth programs, including educational travel tours, the Sanderson Leadership Center, conferences, symposia, and the Museum’s online graduate degree partnership with Arizona State University.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, this role drives participant acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue growth through direct mail, digital advertising, email, social media, web, DRTV/CTV, and other marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute direct-response marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue growth.
• Oversee campaign budgets, media planning, segmentation, testing, and performance optimization.
• Analyze campaign results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate marketing efforts across initiatives to maximize growth and minimize audience fatigue.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
• 10+ years of direct-response marketing experience.
• Proven success managing campaigns across direct mail, digital, social, email, DRTV, and CTV.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional partnerships.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
